In 2009, Lamprell Energy, one of ACT’s biggest clients, began to operate a new 51,000 sq meter facility in Sharjah Hamriyah Free Zone. This coupled with the addition of 195 meters of quayside access gave Lamprell an edge over its clients when competing for new build construction of jack-up rigs and deep water drilling units as well as refurbishment of vessels with a draft of 9 meters.
Once again Lamprell requested ACT’s collaboration in surface preparation and coating.Thus to enhances ACT’s relationship with Lamprell it had setup a site office in HFZ.
