ADNOC Offshore

PROJECT OVERVIEW

ADNOC Offshore commissioned a blast-resistant building destined for one of its production assets, requiring full passive fire protection on the structural steel envelope. ACT executed PFP application at the ACE Crane fabrication yard in Ras Al Khaimah on behalf of NMGL / Hunter. The scope covered surface preparation, PFP build-up to the engineered fire rating, mesh reinforcement at critical zones, and topcoat application — all to ADNOC’s offshore-approved coating specification. Work was sequenced to align with the building’s structural assembly and weatherproofing milestones at the yard.

RESULTS & OUTCOME

The blast-resistant building was delivered with a fully certified PFP system to ADNOC Offshore specification.

  • Specified DFT achieved across all primary and secondary structural members
  • All applications carried out within OEM-approved environmental conditions
  • Mesh and corner reinforcement applied per the fire-engineering details
  • Topcoat finish accepted on first inspection
  • Documentation package handed over with zero punch items on the PFP scope
